Hi all,
I am using Redis in ubuntu 18.04. My current Redis version according to
the 'redis-cli' info command is 4.0.9. I want to update the Redis to
version 5.0.0. I tried uninstalling my current version, i.e. 4.0.9.
based on the instructions from
https://www.learn2torials.com/a/how-to-uninstall-redis-server-from-ubuntu.
Then I downloaded latest Redis software from redis.io. I followed the
instructions given in the README.md file. After that when I hit the
command redis-cli in the terminal, I got the error server not found. Can
anyone help me in unistalling the older version of redis completely and
installing the new version?
Thanks in advance
Regards
